Tony and I moved from Chicago to this beautiful city of Galena eight years ago.

We moved here to run our business, Kaladi’s Coffee Bar on Main Street. Through those eight years, and through Kaladi’s, we have met many tourists from all over the world who have shared their experiences at the various hotels here in Galena.

By listening to them, we learned what they liked, what they did not like and what they would have liked. Coupling this with our own travels throughout the world, we decided to open Kaladi’s Lodging and make it everything that a tourist would want it to be: cozy, comfortable, warm, beautiful and pampering – unforgettable!
